“Death isn’t the greatest loss in life. The greatest loss in life is what dies inside of us while we live.” - Norman Cousins
What Cousins said is very true! When we have lost the passion inside of us to wake up and thank God for this very day, to simply be thankful, to live life, to be our very best, to reach that goal, to do that very thing we said we’d do a year ago, to finally settle in, to go overseas, to leave things behind, to move forward, to speak, to create, to live….. we lose our energy, we lose our purpose and we lose everything.
I believe that human beings are instructed by reason, but are inspired by passion. Believe it or not, it’s easy to tell when someone has lost the light in their eyes. They talk but they do not communicate and speak. They hear but they do not listen. They breathe but they do not live. Whatever your struggle is today- whether it is to do with the realms of finance, relationships, career, purpose, discouragement, failures, fear, sickness, etc.. simply be thankful for today! Do not be put down by that very thing which is limiting yourself to discover your full potential. I am all about helping people realising and discovering their full potential. It is sad that most people do not discover their full potential while they live, perhaps only 60% of it or even less. Don’t be that person.
You have got it in you. Recognise your strengths and your gifting. What are you most passionate about? What gives you the biggest smile after having accomplishing that very thing? Ask yourself these questions, and start working on them. Don’t lose your passion for life. Whatever your passion is, ultimately it relates to people.. so it is no wonder that whatever we are passionate about, has got something to do with blessing other people. We are called to LIVE to LOVE.
